SUPPORT THE STUDENTS

Why Help?
College is more expensive than ever, with the average 4-year bachelor’s degree costing up to $35,000, (even more for international and out of state students) which is much more than most families can afford, especially if they have multiple children.  As a result, only 1 in 10 children from low-income families is able to receive a bachelor’s degree, even though many are accepted into college with adequate GPAs and SAT/ACT scores.

What's Being Done?

Financial aid and scholarships for eligible students can cover anywhere from 30% of tuition to the entire thing. Government programs and student loans can relieve the pressure of upfront payment until students graduate, but this may leave them without any money to spare. Therefore, our organization helps with the burden for less fortunate students and offers support to pay for deposit fees, food, and transportation etc.

The Hidden Fees
If you think College is all about the tuition and the costs stop there, you're wrong.  Students have to pay for pricey books, deposit fees, and transportation, often out of their own pocket.  Families may be struggling to pay rent month to month, therefore, they are unable to assist. In order to help our organization is dedicated to keeping students off the street or in minimum-wage jobs, and into secondary education where they can bloom and live up to their potential.
